M-7 was taken in Letchworth State Park. The statue is of De Go Wannus...I
am not sure of the exact spelling as of yet, But she was a
"white" women that lived with the Indians. It is actually a very
good story, and made much more interesting because it took place right
here in the area.
M-8 was taken at Rock City in Olean, New York. A very nice place to go if you appreciate naturally formed rock structures. M-9 was taken at Griffith Park, a ways out side of Springville, New York. There are literally hundreds of these types of statues that a man created with welds and rod. They are located on about 30 or so acres, in and out of woods and trails. Fully accessible to the public, and free! |
